Company Profile

Shipside Crating Company was established in 1975 to prepare and package equipment and material for export. In 1986, the company moved to its present location on Jacinto Port Boulevard in Channelview, Texas.

From the outset, the Company excelled at handling large and heavy pieces of equipment. The facility is located on 10 and 1/2 acres of land allowing for storage of large items during and after crating/packing for export. The principals have a background in Stevedoring which ensures all jobs are prepared for export in a manner that protects them from handling and storage damage.

Shipside Crating Company prides itself on providing quality service ensuring that each job is properly packaged and that all items are traceable from receipt to delivery.

The scope of the Company's services includes the preparation and packing of equipment and material for shipment by  truck, rail, ship, or air. Equipment may be shipped in crates, on skids, on pallets, in bundles or in containers.
